Jury Excellence Award – 2026 Youth Human Rights Video Contest
The Nearest Dark - Under the Lamp
Oct. 2026
A four-part documentary series on the rights of North Korean-background children and youth, created by four student members of Two for One Music. Each episode explores one right (to education, to belong, to be recorded, and to be connected) through the students' own dreams in astronomy, art, theater, and physics.
The film received the Jury Excellence Award, the highest award conferred, at the 2026 Video Content Contest for Unification and the Human Rights of North Korean Children and Youth, whose top prize is South Korea's Minister of Unification Award.
Entries were selected by an expert jury in journalism and academia, with final review by the Ministry of Unification.

Our Mission
As Two for One Music, a youth-led community service organization, we advocate for the protection of children’s rights worldwide and the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula through the power of music.
We believe every child deserves to live in freedom, dignity, and peace. Yet around the world, millions of children still face war, poverty, and discrimination. On the Korean Peninsula, decades of division have separated families and silenced the dreams of many young people.
To bridge these divides, we organize public events that blend art and action—such as benefit concerts promoting unity, music education for underprivileged youth, and donation campaigns supporting young North Korean refugees. Through these efforts, we strive to raise global awareness, inspire compassion, and build a shared vision of peace for future generations.
Music transcends borders. It connects hearts, amplifies hope, and reminds us that harmony—like peace—begins when we listen to one another.
2026 Voices for Peace & Rights Campaign
July 2026
Now in its second year, Voices for Peace & Rights is a student-made campaign that asks us to see North Korean youth not as people to pity, but as peers with the same dreams. Under the 2026 theme "Hear Them. Stand With Them.," students from 14 schools lent their voices to this short campaign film.

2026 Two for One Music Hope Concert
Aug. 2026
A youth-led benefit concert for the human rights of North Korean children and youth, held on August 9, 2026, at Cosmos Art Hall in Seoul. Under the campaign theme "Hear Them. Stand With Them.," 45 students from 14 schools in four countries performed and ran the event, from planning and stage management to promotion.
The program moved from "A Prayer for Peace" to "Hope," featuring works by Bach and Bruch alongside Korean songs, and closed with a special arrangement of Arirang by the Two for One Music Chamber Ensemble. All proceeds support scholarships and resettlement for North Korean children and youth.
